The Dakota Rising Fellowship is an opportunity available to entrepreneurs:
- Committed to growing themselves professionally, their businesses, and the greater community.
- Whose business is:
- Located within the parameters of one of the Dakota Rising Sites.
- Beyond the start up stage.
- Has potential for providing goods or services outside the local economy and/or is creating something that hasn't previously existed.
- That evidence a plan for significant impact as defined by one or more of the following:
- Job creation (Number and/or Quality)
- Financial growth (change in Balance Sheet or Profit and Loss)
- Effect on local, regional or statewide economy through outsourcing or other supply chain transactions
- Essential community product or service
- Significant impact is considered in the context of the demographics of the Dakota Rising Site.
In order to be considered eligible to apply for the Dakota Rising Fellowship, after submitting the Intent to Apply, you:
- Will be interviewed by your Site Resource Team.
- Are required to participate in a resource networking event prior to submitting an application. Contact your Site Coordinator for opportunities.
- Must complete an Application and submit it on or before February 17, 2011.
