Western South Dakota communities now have a SD Rural Enterprise representative, Kristi Wagner. Wagner will be working with Revolving Loan Funds and economic development groups in western South Dakota to acquaint them with SD Rural Enterprise and its range of programs. With her background in economic development, leadership training, fundraising, sales, marketing and public relations, Wagner is uniquely suited to assist businesses and communities in taking steps to growing a strong economy.

Wagner is a trained facilitator with the Pew Partnership for Civic Change LeadershipPlenty and the Northwest Area Foundation Creating Value Added Communities. Both LeadershipPlenty and Creating Value Added Communities are programs offered through SD Rural Enterprise in South Dakota communities.

“Kristi is a strong advocate for community development and an experienced facilitator of programs to make our state’s economy grow,” said Beth Davis, president of SD Rural Enterprise. “Her awareness of South Dakota issues and her ability to communicate make her a vital addition to our team.”

Kristi is also the owner and CEO of the Rushmore Center for Civic Leadership. Wagner’s consulting business provides assistance in organizational and business development to corporations, businesses, organizations and non-profit groups.
