The past year has been a full one for South Dakota Rural Enterprise. With the resources to develop a new micro-enterprise program, the increased use of the South Dakota Community Capital Fund and the first utilization of our New Market Tax Credits program, available through Dakotas America, LLC, 2006 gave us the opportunity to work with an increasing number of communities and individuals throughout South Dakota.

As we increase and enhance our resources for community development in our state, we need you to help provide vital feedback to us about the difference we are making in your community. Since our goal is to grow community opportunity, we need communities—and the economic development leaders in those communities—to keep us on target as we move forward. We have a commitment to fulfill the goals we have set for ourselves and for South Dakota’s future. In order to know if we are meeting our commitment, we need to hear from you.

We have a broader pool of resources now than at any time in the history of this organization. We have worked hard to be a valuable partner to the community development groups in South Dakota communities of all sizes. As we prepare for the future, we need to ensure that we are meeting your needs, and providing those services that you feel can help make a difference in your community.
