"I have gained skills and enthusiasm to use in any organization in which I am involved. It gave me an awareness of tools I can use to generate ideas in the organizations in which I am involved, and to become a leader and see that the ideas will be followed through with cooperation and success."

Diane M. Sandhoff, LeadersipPlenty South Dakota participantDiane M. Sandhoff, LeadersipPlenty South Dakota participant
"The LeadershipPlenty program has helped me look at my community with new eyes. I never thought about what is necessary to keep a community healthy and growing. I took that for granted as many others in the community probably do. After all, what did I have to offer? I learned that we all have something to offer and it takes everyone working together to maintain and continue to build a strong community. The group process really helped us identify some of our community strength. It also raised the question of where to go from here. What do we need to keep our community viable in the future? What is the plan and how do we reach it? The leadership skills that were offered will assist us in reaching the goal. LeadershipPlenty also offered us a glimpse of the resources that are available to help communities remain stable."

"I have gained friendship, conflict resolution, knowledge of resources inside the community, and that working together we can get more accomplished."
